When many people consider mental health treatment, they think it’s an all-or-none solution — go to complete inpatient care or try to manage the day-to-day on your own. However, people like you or your loved ones may not be able to take a break from their lives for the weeks or months needed to stay at a treatment facility full-time. You may not even want to.
At Diamond House, we understand that a total inpatient experience is not for everyone. You need a treatment that’s as unique as you and the conditions you’re managing. That’s why our state-of-the-art facility offers a range of treatment modalities and stay programs. Our goal is to help you find new ways to manage your mental health without taking away from your life.
Our mental health facility offers two types of outpatient treatment:
IOP generally offers time for one-on-one treatment and psychiatric care, along with group therapy. PHP allows us to offer our full range of therapies and services, including:
Diamond House’s Partial Hospitalization Program has worked for clients with all kinds of mental health diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, OCD, schizophrenia, and anger issues. While many people may see it as the ideal alternative to an inpatient treatment program, you should fit some of these criteria to be a good candidate:
Our team consists of medically approved professionals who are passionate about mental health care. We know that the road to recovery looks different for everyone, and there’s no timeline for healing. Because of that, there’s no set time period for our partial hospitalization program in California. Some people participate in it for a week, while others stay for over a month to learn the tools they need to succeed.
In general, though, most people see enough improvement to transition out of the partial hospitalization program within two to three weeks. From there, most people are stable enough to return to their regular routine. However, others may spend some time in our IOP after PHP.
When you or your loved one is struggling with mental illness, our adult Partial Hospitalization Program for mental health may be the solution you need. Our specialists deliver professional, empathetic care whether you’re in our facility full-time or for only a few hours a week. We’ll talk with you to learn your treatment requirements and devise a plan that allows you to maintain your work, home and other responsibilities while still putting yourself first.
If you’re ready to see change in your life, contact the Diamond House team today. We’ll help you decide which of our programs is best for you and start your services as soon as possible.
